TORRINGTON, CT - At 3:39 p.m. on March 8, 2010 Torrington firefighters responded to 88 Northside Drive for a chimney fire.

On arrival firefighters had a smoke condition in the attic area. The attic was converted to living space.

Ladder 2 went to the roof to open up the clogged chimney. Engine 1 cleaned out the wood stove in the basement.

The fire was under control in thirty minutes. There were no injuries.
