REHOBOTH, MA - Several members of the Rehoboth Fire Department participated in an ice rescue drill on Sunday, February 7, 2010.

Firefighters honed their skills on rescuing people who fall through the ice, throwing devices to people in distress and drafting water through ice.

Rehoboth fire officers instructed members on all aspects of ice rescue including selection of proper equipment, scene size up, incident command and the proper use of cold water suits.
